The Functional Expansion Approach for Solving NPDEs as a Generalization of the Kudryashov and G′/G Methods

This paper presents the functional expansion approach as a generalized method for finding traveling wave solutions of various nonlinear partial differential equations. The can be seen combination Kudryashov and G′/G solving methods. It allowed extension first to use second order auxiliary equations, and, at same time, it non-standard G′/G-solutions generated. is illustrated here on Dodd–Bullough–Mikhailov model, using linear ordinary equation an equation.
